In 2007, a young boy named Siddarth enrolled at a Globalart centre in Alwarpet, Chennai—simply because he enjoyed drawing. What began as a fun after-school activity soon became a lifelong passion. After completing the Globalart Programme, Siddarth pursued Art and Design at the prestigious National Institute of Design (NID), worked with the Philips Innovation Campus, and later earned a Master’s in Design from Harvard University in 2025.
Siddarth’s journey is one of many inspiring stories that demonstrate the power of nurturing artistic talent from an early age. At Globalart, we don’t just teach children how to draw—we help them observe, imagine, think independently, and express themselves with confidence. Founded in Malaysia in 1999 by artist, designer, and educator Mahair Goh, Globalart has grown into one of the world’s leading creative education programmes for children. Globalart was introduced in India by SIP Academy in 2005 with its first centre in Chennai. Since then, it has grown into India’s largest international after-school art programme, with a presence across 7 states and 150+ centres.
For over two decades, Globalart India has empowered 100,000+ children through structured art education that goes beyond drawing and colouring. Artist, designer, and educator Mahair Goh founded Globalart in Malaysia in 1999 with a vision of transforming the way children learn art.
Having spent more than three decades working with children, he recognised that art education should go beyond teaching drawing techniques. It should inspire imagination, encourage independent thinking, and help children develop essential life skills that support lifelong success.
Driven by his passion for art and education, he designed Globalart’s unique, structured, skill-based curriculum and established the very first Globalart centre in Malaysia. Today, Globalart has grown into one of the world’s leading creative education brands, operating across 23 countries and empowering over one million students worldwide.
His philosophy, “Art is Life. Live Creatively.”, continues to inspire the Globalart community and is reflected in the brand’s enduring tagline, “Think Creative.”

Dinesh Victor, an alumnus of IIT Bombay and IIM Ahmedabad, founded SIP Academy with a vision of equipping children with essential life skills that prepare them for an ever-changing world
After beginning his career in the corporate world, he realised his true calling was to make a meaningful difference in children’s lives through education. This vision led to the launch of the SIP Abacus Programme in 2003 and the introduction of Globalart to India in 2005.
Recognising that creativity is one of the most valuable skills of the future, Dinesh Victor has been instrumental in building Globalart India into the country’s leading international after-school art programme. Under his leadership, thousands of children have discovered their artistic potential while developing confidence, imagination, and critical thinking skills that extend far beyond the classroom.
He continues to champion innovative learning experiences that help children become confident, creative, and future-ready individuals.
